Welcome to Soroptimist International of Downriver!
We are a passionate group of women who believe in the power of friendship, service, and community. As part of Soroptimist International, a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and opportunity, we work together to create meaningful change right here in the Downriver area. Whether we're awarding scholarships, mentoring young women, supporting survivors, partnering with local organizations, or simply lending a helping hand, our mission is to inspire hope and make a lasting difference—one woman, one girl, and one project at a time.
We invite you to be part of something bigger. Our Business Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodhaven Community Center, while our Dinner Meetings take place on the third Tuesday at rotating Downriver restaurants. These evenings may feature guest speakers, hands-on service projects, leadership discussions, or simply an opportunity to connect with inspiring women who share a heart for service.
If you're looking for friendship and connection with purpose, a chance to help improve the lives of women and girls in our community world, and like to have fun while doing good, we'd love to welcome you to Soroptimist International of Downriver. Together, we can make a difference.
